Terms of Use

Last updated October 11, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Modu app, the Modu Business app, and the Modu website and dashboard (together, "Modu"). Modu is provided by MOTHER PARKERSON LLC, doing business as Modu ("we" and "us"). By creating an account or using Modu, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Modu.

1. What Modu is

Modu is software that connects customers with independent dry cleaners and laundries ("cleaners" or "stores") for pickup and delivery. Modu is not a dry cleaner. The cleaning, pickup and delivery are provided by the store you choose, not by us. We don't handle your clothes, set the store's prices, or guarantee the quality of its work.

2. Your account

3. For customers

4. For stores

5. Messages, photos and content

You are responsible for what you send through Modu. Messages between a customer and a store can be read by that store's staff. Don't send anything unlawful, harassing, misleading or that you don't have the right to share. You give us permission to store and show your content as needed to run Modu.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Modu. That includes trying to break or bypass its security, scraping data, impersonating someone, using it to send spam, or using it for anything unlawful or deceptive.

7. Suspension and ending

We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or isn't paid for (for stores). You can stop using Modu at any time and can delete your account in the app under Account. A store's only owner needs to close the store first. When you delete your account, your login and personal details are removed. Your order history stays with the store, without your name.

8. Third-party services

Modu works with Apple, Google, Stripe (for card payments, when offered) and others. Their own terms apply to their services. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for Modu.

9. Disclaimers

Modu is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that it will always work, be error-free, or be available at any time. We are not responsible for the actions of stores, drivers or customers.

10. Limits on our liability and resolving disputes

Modu is a platform. The service, the clothing and the delivery are the store's, so claims about them are between you and the store.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, even if we were told they were possible. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything related to Modu is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) $100.

Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Stores agree to defend and compensate us for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) brought by customers or others that come from the store's services, pricing, taxes, handling of clothing, or its breach of these terms or the law.

Resolving disputes. If something goes wrong, write to support@modudrop.com first. Most issues can be solved informally, and we'll try to work it out with you for at least 30 days before either side goes to court. Small-claims court is always an option.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, and disputes will be handled in the courts of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, except where the law requires otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. When we make an important change, we'll tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Modu after a change means you accept it.
